CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — Job seekers looking for employment opportunities have a chance to hunt for more than 1,000 open positions all in one room.
A statewide job fair is scheduled 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, according to the arena’s Facebook page.
Nearly 250 job vendors, including employers and job resources, will be available.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is not necessary but is encouraged. Visit www.jobcase.com/wvjobfair.com to register.
Employers scheduled to be at the job fair include Charleston Area Medical Center, Thomas Health, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Appalachian Power/American Electric Power, city of Charleston, Charleston Police Department, Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Postal Service, Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, Mountaineer Gas, West Virginia State University, West Virginia University, West Virginia State Police, West Virginia American Water and the West Virginia Division of Personnel.
